Abstract
The official program for the Tuesday, October 29, 1940 Over-Coat harness races at the Cumberland Fairgrounds hosted by the Cumberland Farmers' Club in West Cumberland, Maine. The cover of the program includes the names of race officials including Starting Judge Lawrence Haddock; Judges Dr. H. S. Irish and Edwin Keller; and Mutuels Director Frank R. Witman. The names of Maine State Racing Commission members Miles B. Mank, William A. Lumb, and Harold O. Pelley are also listed on the program cover. The program cover also includes a summary of the horses in the Daily Double. Inside the program, Kendall recorded the official times, changes in the field of horses or drivers, and order of finish for each race. Due to cancellation of the event after the fourth race, Kendall cut off one of the program panels.
