Abstract

The official race program for the Monday, July 11, 1938 Summer Race Meet at the Maine State Fair Grounds race track on King Street, Lewiston, Maine. The program includes a list of the race day officers including the chair of the Maine Racing Commission. Photographer Guy Kendall made notations in the program indicating changes in the field of horses, time results of races, and other finish results. Kendall noted the amount of his bets in the upper left corner of each race card and his winnings in the upper right corner.
