Abstract/ Summary
The University of Maine's Spirit Week, held from April 28th to May 2nd in 2025, has evolved from Maine Day, which began in 1935 as a campus cleanup initiative. This week-long event focuses on fostering beautification, providing service opportunities, and enhancing school spirit within the UMaine community. Organized with support from the Bodwell Center for Service and Volunteerism, UMaine Athletics, and Student Life, Spirit Week 2025 will feature a variety of activities, including athletic competitions and numerous opportunities for students to engage in service projects both on and off campus.
