Abstract/ Summary

University of Maine Men's basketball coach Ted Woodward begins his third season at the helm of the Black Bears. Woodward returns a core of accomplished veteran players in addition to an exciting group of newcomers to highlight the upcoming season. Maine finished 12-16 during the 2005-06 season after key injuries to several Black Bears. All-Conference guard Kevin Reed sat out the season as a medical redshirt, while All-Rookie selection Philippe Tchekane Bofia missed several games as well during the season.
