A scanned version of a pamphlet distributed to first-year students at the University of Maine. "Aids For Freshmen" was an annual publication that included "a series of articles designed to assist the entering class in understanding certain phases of college life at the University of Maine."
This issue included four articles: "Honor Societies at the University of Maine" written by members of the societies; "University Rules" by Roy M. Peterson; "The Academic System" by James A. Gannett, and "Scholarships and Prizes," also by James A. Gannett.
