A scan of a report related to a 15-member Commission on Pluralism appointed by the Board of Trustees of the University of Maine in May of 1989. The group was asked to assess the current status and offer recommendations for insuring future steps toward "an institutional climate that supports and encourages respect and appreciation for people of different backgrounds."
