Abstract/ Summary

The Maine Perspective, a publication for the University of Maine, was a campus newsletter produced by the Department of Public Affairs which eventually transformed into the Division of Marketing and Communication. Regular features include listings of newly released titles by UMaine authors, "Look Who's On Campus," an opinion column entitled "Viewpoint," and Classified Ads. Included in this issue are articles covering the Landscape Horticulture Club's participation in the annual Bangor Garden Show, observation of World Health Day, and events marking Native American Awareness Month.
