Abstract/ Summary

The Maine Perspective, a publication for the University of Maine, was a campus newsletter produced by the Department of Public Affairs which eventually transformed into the Division of Marketing and Communication. Regular features include listings of newly released titles by UMaine authors, "Look Who's On Campus," an opinion column entitled "Viewpoint," and Classified Ads. Included in this issue are articles covering the creation of a new Academic Computing Advisory Committee to address campus networking needs, a proposal to redevelop the north entrance of campus, and a profile of Rodney and Alfred Bushway, brothers and researchers with the Department of Food Science.
