The Maine Perspective, a publication for the University of Maine, was a campus newsletter produced by the Department of Public Affairs which eventually transformed into the Division of Marketing and Communication. Regular features include listings of newly released titles by UMaine authors, "Look Who's On Campus," an opinion column entitled "Viewpoint," and Classified Ads. Included in this issue are articles covering an update on the status of networking on the UMaine campus and connecting to the New England Regional Computer Network (NEARNET), a comprehensive study of the lobster market, and a feature profile of UMaine Economist, David Clark.
