Abstract/ Summary

The Bangor Daily News, News Center Maine, and WABI (Channel 5) previewed planned upgrades to the athletic facilities at the University of Maine, including improvements to the Harold Alfond Sports Stadium and a new soccer field. Ferrini-Mundy and Ken Ralph, UMaine athletic director, also discussed the Alfond Foundation gift and the impact on UMaine's athletics programs on a Voice of Maine broadcast. The athletic facilities master plan was shared at a virtual event at 9 a.m. Feb.17, 2021 on goblackbears dot com.
