Faculty Forum : Blue Sky Strategic Plan “Kick-Off”

Abstract/ Summary

At this Forum, President Susan J. Hunter hosted a “town meeting” to present to the University community the idea behind the assessment of the Blue Sky Strategic Plan and the opportunities from this reflection in building the foundation for our next strategic plan. Provost Jeffrey E. Hecker presented an overview of the process, the approach taken as assessment work commenced over the summer, and a timeline for completion. He provided highlights from each pathway and described the format of the Pathway Forums to follow throughout the fall. UMaine community members were encouraged to attend. For those unable to attend, a video of the Forum and an opportunity to provide feedback were available through the webpage after the Forum.
