Description
An image scanned from a postcard of the most beautiful pier in New England at Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Many people are walking on the sand and enjoying the water. A large ship is docked near the pier. The casino at the end of the pier includes advertisements on the roof for dancing and "talkies," or motion pictures with sound, helping to date the image to the late 1920s or early 1930s.
