An image scanned from a blue and white cyanotype print with a handwritten caption that reads, "In the swaying alders he pours forth his song, he trills it and warbles it all the day long. Nest of the Yellow Warbler."
Saved within a small collection of images of bird nests taken around 1905. Some are identified as having been taken by Ora Willis Knight, a member of the University of Maine Class of 1895, Maine Experiment Station assistant, resident of Bangor and Portland, and someone who, according to his obituary printed in the Bangor Daily Commercial Nov. 12, 1913, gained a national reputation as a chemist, geologists, and ornithologist.
