An image scanned from a black and white photograph from an album documenting the construction of the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad in Maine. Merchant signs in the photograph read, "W. M. Parse, Hats, Caps, Boots & Shoes," and "Dyer..." providing hints that helped to identify the photograph as having been taken in Searsport, Maine. No date.
