A scanned image of a black and white photograph of a bridge in New Sharon, Maine. The writing on the back of the photograph reads, "View showing how the concrete is protected in cold weather. The temperature inside is kept above 50 [degrees Fahrenheit] for about three days and above 32 [degrees] for the next seven." The photograph is dated 1929.
