Description
Color postcard in the papers of Elena B. Shute, a woman from Belfast, Maine, who became an actress. The postcard is not postmarked or dated, but is addressed to Joseph Henderson, Chesuncook, Maine. The note reads, "Here's where I'm at as I said I would be. Next time you are in Belfast we can go in bathing when we are at the shore. Elena B. Shute." Text on the front reads, "71587 The New York Skyline from East River, photo by the New York Edison Co." Saved with a diary covering the years 1919 to 1924.
