Black and white photograph of downtown Bangor, Maine in 1946. From the photograph collection of Jim Garvin, official photographer for the University of Maine in the 1950s and 1960s. Signs are visible for Freese's Department Store, Puritan National Clothing Stores, George's Men's Clothes, Bangor Opera House and Everybody's Store.
