Description

A black and white photograph in the Diana Forbes-Robertson collection related to the career of her aunt, Maxine Elliott, an internationally renowned actress born in Rockland, Maine in 1868. This photograph is labeled on the front as Bob Crocket - Sep. 16, 1896, Minstrel Man, Manegar [sic] - Farewell Opera House." An additional note in pen says this pi[cture] was taken Sept. 15 1896." A note on the back uses slightly different spellings, noting, "Bob Crockett, manager of Farewell's Opera House."
