An image scanned from a black and white photograph of students and the instructor of the Eastern Maine General Hospital School of Nursing program in 1917. The backdrop used by the Frederick Johnson studio seems to reflect the World War I era. Handwritten notes accompanying the photograph list a few names: Velma Badger Bradbury, Mae Finnegan (seated, holding knee), Miss Washburn (center).
