Black and white image scanned from a negative in the Great Northern Paper Company records. A close up of spiked boots and logging hook, or peavey. No date or location are noted. Saved near photographs that range in date from the 1930s to 1960s, and many are stamped on the back, "J.E. McLeod, 331 Main Street, Calais, Maine." The edge of the negative is marked in ink, 10.294.
