Description

Black and white photograph of two, unidentified young men seated on top of a load of large logs on a two-sled. The man in front holds reins of the team of horses. The man seated behind the driver had a peavey struck into a log in front of him. The landscape is snowy. The sled is stopped beside the Jordan Lumber Co. woods camp, Grindstone, Maine. The original photograph was donated by M.L. Jordan, Old Town, Maine. Accessioned 1958.
