    Description

    Black and white, formal portrait of a young woman, Elsie Mabel (Dinsmore) Squiers, possibly her wedding portrait. Elsie was a daughter of Samuel O. Dinsmore and niece of Thomas and Nellie Smart. Elsie worked as a school teacher in Seboeis around 1910 and lived with her aunt and uncle. She married Harry Parker Squiers on June 9, 1911. Elsie has long dark hair styled in a high pompadour. She wears a light-colored gown with a heavy lace bib and high collar. She also wears glasses. 1910-1911. See NAFOH 2462.
