Black and white photo of brown stallion Lee Strathmore, out of the Knight of Strathmore and unidentified mare, driven by Johnston in the 2.14 Stake Pace August 20, 1931 at the Skowhegan State Fair. Owned by S. A. Wathen of Fort Fairfield, Lee Strathmore finished third in the contest. Kendall mounted the photo on the front of the official race program.
