Description

Black and white finish-line photo of chestnut mare Silver Queen winning the second heat of the 2.40 Mixed Class race (open to horses owned in Androscoggin and Cumberland Counties) at the New Gloucester and Danville Agricultural Association Fairgrounds on October 2, 1930. The chestnut gelding Prince Henry driven by Carter finished the heat in second place. Grace Mozart with Barret up finished the heat in third.
