2.09 Class Pace
Black and white photo at the starting line of the first heat of the 2.09 Class Pace at Sage Park, Windsor, Connecticut on Friday, July 4, 1930. The first three horses visible in the photo are (left to right) Hazel McKlyo, Volo Rico, Hollyrood Jacqueline.
The brown gelding, Volo Rico, the middle horse with a dark shadow roll, was driven by W. Crozier to a fifth place finish in the first heat and after the second heat, Volo Rico's race was done due to injury.
