Black and white photo of bay gelding Silkworm driven by Haddock was disqualified in the first heat of the 2.27 Class Trot and Pace at the Bridgton Agricultural Association races on Thursday, August 7, 1930. Note the rubber boots and bindings that protect Silkworm's hooves and ankles from "speedy cutting" and "cross firing."
