Black stallion Eddie C. Grattan wearing head number two, Maher up, won the race in 1.52-1/2, winning photographer Guy Kendall $35.25 on a $3 bet. Bay mare, Lady Henley, Fleisch up, finished in second. Bay mare, High Point, Miller up, showed in third. Cub McKlyo, a bay gelding, Havens up, showed in fourth place.
