Free for All
Black and white photo of black gelding, pacer, The Bengal with owner/driver G. W. Fanjoy up. The Bengal ran one heat of the Free for All at Franklin Park before scratching due to veterinary issues. The race was held during the Franklin County Agricultural Society Cattle Show and Fair, Farmington, Maine, Sept. 22, 1927. Note the track's distinctive picket fence in the background of the photo.
