Black and white action photograph of the finish of the fourth race of the Friday, July 7, 1939 Gorham Fair harness races at Narragansett Park, Gorham, Maine. The three top finishers of the race MillieDale, Clay Gratton, Prudence Volo, bunch together as the field approaches the finish. Black mare, Millie Dale wearing head number one, Morgan up claimed the heat with chestnut stallion, Clay Gratton wearing head number five, Toole up, placed in second. Brown mare, Prudence Volo wearing head number three, Marvin up, hugged the rail to show in third.
