Free For All Pace
Black and white photograph of the finish of the second heat of the Free For All Pace at the Eastern Trotting League Autumn Meet at Suffolk Downs, East Boston, Saturday, October 10, 1936. Bay gelding Peter Dale finished second in the first heat but claimed first place wins in both the second and third heats of the contest. Other finishers in the second heat were Dinion Grtattan placing in second, Calumet Dubuque showing in third, and Rip Hanover crossing the line in fourth place. Black stallion Logan Scott was put down after breaking a leg in the first heat.
