Description
Sepia tone finish line action photo of the first heat of the Evening News Free-for-All Trot at the Western Maine Agricultural Exposition, Cumberland County Fair Trotting Park, Gorham, Maine, August 1934. Bay mare Edna Klyo beat out Fannie Volo at the finish. Gewndolyn Audrey finished third. Note the display of posters advertising upcoming fair events in the background as well as the musicians who entertained spectators between races.
