Abstract

The race program for the Thursday, October 5, 1939 West Oxford County Agricultural Society harness races in Fryeburg, Maine. The cover of the program includes the names of race day officials as well as a summary of the field of horses participating in the first and second halves of the Daily Double. The cover includes the notice: "All horses acting bad at the post, will be given two scores, after which they will have to take care of themselves. Per Order, The Association." The program includes Guy Kendall's handwritten notes on changes in race line ups and finish times.
