Abstract

The official race program for the Cumberland Over-Coat Meet on Saturday, November 5, 1938 at the Cumberland Harness Racing Track, West Cumberland, Maine. The program includes the names of race day officials and a summary of the Daily Double on the front cover. The final panel of the card includes information about rules for the Daily Double and Pari-Mutuel betting. The program also includes Guy Kendall's notes on changes in the race lineups, including the finish times. Kendall also noted in the third race Calumet Calling set a new trotting track record of 2.05 1/2.
