Abstract

Race program for the Friday, July 10, 1936, Mid-Summer Races at the Topsham Fair Grounds, Topsham, Maine. The race card includes the names of the race committee members, the rules for pari-mutuel betting in the state of Maine, and photographer Guy Kendall's handwritten notes for changes in the race field, as well as race finishes and times. Kendall also made notes on various bets he placed and winnings claimed. On the cover of this program, Kendall noted that the Daily Double, indicated as D. D., paid $406.80.
