Abstract

The race program for the first West Oxford Agricultural Society pari-mutual races at Fryeburg, Maine on Wednesday, October 2, 1935. The program includes the names of the officers of the West Oxford Agricultural Society race committee. The program includes Kendall's notes on changes in the race field, race finishes, and his betting tally. Betting notes appear to record the amount of his bets in the left, upper corner of each race listing and his winnings in the upper right corners. According to these notes, Kendall wagered a grand total of $35.50 throughout the event and claimed a total of $19.65 in winnings.
