Description
The presence of the Fowler family in the portion of Maine that includes Indian Purchase Townships No. 3 and 4, and the towns of Millinocket, East Millinocket and Medway dates from the 1829 arrival of Thomas and Betsey Fowler and their family from Pittsfield.
The collection is arranged in four series: [1] the business records of the Norcross Transportation Co., [2] the scrapbooks of Kate Jones Fowler, [3] photographs and motion pictures, and [4] essays, photograph album compilations by theme, oral history interviews, and various associated miscellanea.
