FY 2010 -2011
Cultural Affairs/ Distinguished Lecture Series
Project Abstract/ Summary
Spring 201 I Women's History Celebration, March 14 to March 31. This year's celebration will focus on getting young women involved with the issues that are at the forefront of their lives. The idea behind this year's WHC is to explore issues such as reproductive rights, domestic violence, body image, bullying, suicide, environmental toxins and other hot topics that women are confronted with everyday. As always, we will provide an array of speakers, panels, films, performances and displays that will reflect the diversity of women's experiences locally, nationally, and internationally.
