Project Abstract/ Summary
The Department of Philosophy is seeking funding support from the Cultural Affairs/Distinguished Lecture Series Fund for its 2010-2011 Philosophy colloquium Series. This series of public talks will provide opportunities for students, faculty, and community members to hear and discuss stimulating lectures on a wide range of topics that are relevant not only to philosophers but to current topics of ethical, social, and political import. Some of the events enable collaboration and communication with other units on the campus and in the community.
