Project Abstract/ Summary
Project Opportunity would like to host a faculty luncheon and public lecture at University of Maine on Thursday October 16,2003 and have Lily Wong Fillmore as the speaker. Project Opportunity supports ESL and Bilingual programs and training throughout the State of Maine. Lily Wong Fillmore would be a popular lecture choice for many University of Maine faculty members and students. Dr. Fillmore's research would be informative to faculty dealing with ESl/Bilingual issues, the Maine Learning Results, preservation of indigenous languages, and avariety of other research topics. She will be coming to be the keynote speaker at the Maine ESL conference in Portland on Friday October 17. We would like to host a faculty luncheon and public lecture on the Thursday before her presentation in Portland
