Description

An image scanned from a black and white negative of a man standing within a field of corn in the area of Presque Isle, Maine. Saved within a group of photographs where it appears Armour Fertilizer Works was the client, and a sign in the image reads, "Grown with Amour's Big Crop Fertilizers."

While Armour Fertiizer appears to have been a national company, the Maine Register lists Armour Fertilizer Works as a manufacturer in Presque Isle during the years from 1924 to 1959.
