Description

An image scanned from a black and white negative with the caption, "Fay House." This seems to refer to the home of Winthrop L. and Edith Fay at 30 High Street in Dexter, Maine. Winthrop was the son of the founder of Fay & Scott Machine Shops, Norman H. Fay.

A van is parked outside the home and several workers are standing on ladders and working. Text on the van reads, "Carey Rocktex Rock Wool, Warmer Homes in Winter, Cooler Homes in Summer, Northern Insulation Company, Tel. 624, 75 Forest Ave., Orono, Me."
