Abstract/ Summary

A scanned version of a pamphlet distributed to incoming students during Freshman Week at the University of Maine. "Aids For Freshmen" was an annual publication that included articles intended to provide tips that would help members of the entering class.

This issue included seven articles: "To the Members of the Freshman Class" by W. J. Creamer; "The Use of the Library" by library staff; "Some Suggestions on How to Study" by Olin S. Lutes; "The Academic System" by James A. Gannett; "Scholarships and Prizes" by Milton Ellis and Bertrand F. Brann; "Honor Societies at the University of Maine" by members of the societies; and "Student Finances" by W. W. Chadbourne.
