The Cohen Journal
About This Journal
The Cohen Journal is the official publication of the Cohen Institute for Leadership and Public Service at the University of Maine. It is a student-based peer-reviewed journal that aims to provide University of Maine undergraduates, postgraduates, and graduates with a forum to present their original research on issues relevant to American domestic and foreign policy.
We encourage submissions across a wide range of topics, methodologies, and approaches. The maximum length for articles is 5,000 words; however, the editorial board will also consider submissions that are shorter in length, between 1000 – 1500 words. These “commentary pieces” may include book reviews, comments on contemporary affairs, and shorter, more focused analysis.
