Description
An image scanned from a black and white photograph that had been saved within a collection of postcards. Text was added at the time of printing the photograph to read, "Thundering toward the shore near Two Lights, Portland, Maine, GSE." Handwritten text on the back of the photograph reads, "Merry Christmas 1940" and was mailed to "Jay and Betty Lee, Detroit."
