A black and white photograph taken by Jim Garvin, the official photographer for the University of Maine during the 1950s and 1960s. He labeled this photograph, "Old Town P.C.F.," most likely a reference to the Penobscot Chemical Fibre Company, with Great Works Dam and the Penobscot River in the foreground.
