An image scanned from a black and white print. When the photograph was used in Herbert J. Edwards' book, James A. Herne: The Rise of Realism in the American Drama, Edwards noted that this was Julie as Helen Berry and James A. Herne as Nathaniel Berry in Shore Acres and the portrait was autographed "To K. C. (Katharine Corcoran) from Julie A. & Jas. A."
