Description

An image scanned from a black and white photograph of Margaret Chase Smith. The photo was inscribed in white ink to Charles Patrick Clark. A typed caption accompanies the photograph and notes this original photograph has a bromide finish and that photos like these were inscribed to the "eminent counselor of Congressional committees including the famed War Appropriations Committee of the Senate then headed by Harry S. Truman." Charles P. Clark appears to have been a member of Truman's staff.
