An image scanned from a black and white photograph of Addison, Maine, taken by Leslie Brigham in 1938 with the caption, "Ruins of buildings, looking east toward rear of damaged Methodist Church. People were able to salvage some canned goods." Part of a series of photographs taken "after the big fire."
