Description
Black and white postcard from the papers of Mary Dawson, a dancer born in Philadelphia who became known in the entertainment world as Mademoiselle Fifi. Text on the postcard says, "Just Arrived for the Summer Fifi from Paris The One Only & Original Now Playing Savoy Theatre Atlantic City, N.J." The theater name and city have been crossed out, and a note added to say, "Season 1928-1929." In the photograph, words on the parasol say, "Fifi Dancing Venus."
