An image scanned from a black and white photograph taken in Orono, Maine. Handwriting on the back of the photograph says, "R. Gerry Hitchner," and "Brooder houses at Gowell Farm, Orono, 1906." The rear St. Mary's Catholic Church appears prominently in the right side of the photograph.
